An SCBC “Santa Cruz’n Christmas”
Did you know that, unlike any other time of year, Christmas is a time when people are open to coming to church? So this year SCBC is going to take a HUGE step of faith and create a 1950’s Christmas wonderland called “Santa Cruz’n Christmas,” a place where families can come and celebrate Christmas and discover that the true gift of Christmas is Jesus! There will be a Petting Zoo, Hay Rides, Candy Land, a 50’s Diner, Living Nativity & Christmas Drama. For more info and to send an email invite go to: www.santacruzbible.org/christmas.
SCBC Benevolence christmas Turkey drive
The benevolance care team is asking for help this Christmas. We are helping many needy families come to the church asking for help with a simple food request. It is our hope to help many of them with a Christmas dinner by providing each family with a turkey and all the fixings. Anyone who wants to help can purchase a 15lb or smaller frozen turkey and drop it off at the Church office on Tuesday from 10am - 2pm or Thursdays from 1-5pm. Thank you in advance for your support.
Angel Tree ~ Starts Next Weekend
You can be part of blessing a child this Christmas. Through you, children with an incarcerated parent will get a chance to experience Christ’s love. Pick an “Angel” to shop for and share His love with. You can also be part of our “Angel” delivery or packing team. For more info call Arline at 465-9023.
Divorcecare
DivorceCare groups meet weekly to help you face separation and divorce challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Each session has three distinct elements: video seminar featuring top experts and real-life case studies, and then followed by smaller support group time. DivoreCare meets Mondays from 6:30-8:30pm in the Coffee Shop (AC10). Childcare can be arranged with advance notice. For more information call x260.
